Grandmother’s words of wisdom came from practical experience and the Bible. She was a committed Christian. She viewed all of life through the prism of salvation, guidance of the Holy Spirit and the dictates of the Word of God … Her words to me have been proven to be like “apples of gold in settings of silver” (Prov. 25:11, niv).  —Dr. Bernice Reid
